Varto

Varto (Zazaish : "Gımgım") is a town in the Turkish province of Muş. It was the site of a 1966 earthquake that killed nearly 3000 people. It consists of 99 villages and over 90% of the inhabitants are Zazaish and Kurdish. Fact|date=March 2007
