TV1 is a general entertainment channel available on Australia's Foxtel, Austar and Optus Television pay television services. It launched as part of the original Galaxy lineup.

The channel is jointly owned by Sony International Television, Universal Studios and Paramount. The channel shows numerous sitcoms, dramas, movies and other programming. It refers to itself as 'Television's Greatest Hits'. "TV1" also produces original comedy programs including the new program "Stupid Stupid Man".

"TV1" also operates the Australian Sci Fi Channel.


Programming is split into several themes referred to as: Afternoons, Comedy with Bite, Sci-Fi Sector, Retrorama, On the Range and Crime Time. Not all programs shown below are currently being screened.
