Paul Scheer (born 31 January 1976) is an American actor, producer and writer. He's best known for his work on the MTV sketch comedy series "Human Giant", which he co-created and stars in along with Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, and director Jason Woliner and his appearances on NBC's "30 Rock" as Donny Lawson, the head page, and VH1's "Best Week Ever".

Scheer's films include the upcoming "Year One" with Jack Black and Michael Cera (directed by Harold Ramis), and "Bride Wars" with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. He has also appeared in "School for Scoundrels" with Billy Bob Thornton, "Meet Dave" with Eddie Murphy, as well as "The Onion Movie", and the 2004 SXSW Audience Award Winner "Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story".

Scheer has appeared alongside Jeff Goldblum in the NBC drama "Raines" in addition to appearances on TBS' "10 Items or Less", "Late Night with Conan O’Brien", "The Today Show" and Adult Swim's "Fat Guy Stuck in Internet".

In 1995, Scheer became a member of New York City's longest running Off-Broadway comedy show, Chicago City Limits. Then in 1998, he joined the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City where he performed Sketch and Improvisation with Respecto Montalban, winners of the 2003 ECNY Award for "Best Improv Show." Respecto finished their New York tenure with a six-month sold-out run of a political satire stage show directed by Adam McKay (director/writer of "Anchorman"). During that time, Scheer also created/starred in "Automatic Vaudeville" at the Ars Nova Theater, which the "Hollywood Reporter" called "one of the top five shows in the country."

Scheer is currently based in Los Angeles. He is a regular performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBTLA), where he currently performs in MYSPACE, an improvised show based on audience member's profiles. The show was named the "Best Improv Show" by "LA Magazine" and has been profiled on "Good Morning America".

In 2006, "Variety" named Scheer one of the "Top 10 Comics to Watch" and "AP Magazine" hailed as one of their favorite comedians. He frequently updates on his blog where he posts humorous observations and performing news.
