Marakwet East Constituency

Marakwet East Constituency

Marakwet East is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of two constituencies of Marakwet District. The constituency has eleven wards, all of which elect councillors for the Marakwet County Council. The constituency was established for the 1992 Elections as Kerio East constituency, and was renamed to its current form for the 1997 elections.
