Zakir Hussain was Born and raised in Meerut ,he passed out of Delhi's National School of Drama in 1993.

Few would know that Zakir Hussain is a talented musician, too. Not only is he a skilled percussionist, he sings as well. Now that's a whole bunch of skills still waiting to be tapped.
