"Through the Iris" is a single released by hard rock band 10 Years in 2006. It is the second single released and track 8 from their first major release, "The Autumn Effect". It was released for radio only, as there was no CD single.

Like the previous single, it was also originally released on the "Killing All That Holds You" EP, produced by Travis Wyrick. The EP was eventually re-released as an LP featuring several acoustic tracks. The acoustic tracks were recorded live by Mike D for Lakeside Studios. It was track 2 and clocked in at 3:23.

However, for the release of The Autumn Effect, the song was rerecorded to a studio quality, whereas the tracks from Killing All That Holds You are of a rough demo quality.

The album version of the track, features an interlude, starting at 3:28 and leading into the next track "Empires". This makes the single clock in at 5:41.
