Dark Flower is the 2001 incarnation of pop duo Melanie Williams and Joe Roberts marking the first time that these two artists were recording under one band name. It showed a departure from covers like "You are Everything" originally released in 1971 by the Stylistics and "Adore" by Prince.
The formation of Dark Flower meant the continuation of the successful combination of these creative British Soul R&B artists who had hits independently in the UK Singles Chart. Dark Flower later became Bodhi band.
