Patrick Edward Arlis (born December 18, 1980, in Winfield, Illinois) is a minor league baseball catcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 11th round of the 2002 amateur entry draft. Arlis played in the Marlins' minor league system from 2002 to 2007. He topped out with the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes in 2007, when he was released mid-season. He then signed with the independent Northern League's Kansas City T-Bones. In 2008, he played for the Golden Baseball League's Calgary Vipers. Arlis was signed to a minor league contract with the Brewers in 2009, and assigned to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. He split the 2010 season between Nasvhille and the Double-A Huntsville Stars.

Dayton Ryo Buller (born June 22, 1981, in Fresno, California) is a minor league baseball catcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 18th round (556th overall) of the 2001 amateur entry draft from Fresno City College. He played in the Giants minor league system from 2002 to 2008 (excluding 2006, in which he did not play). In 2009 and early 2010, Buller played in the Colorado Rockies organization. He was released by the Rockies in early 2010 and briefly played in the independent Atlantic League before his contract was purchased by the Brewers in June. He played the rest of the season with the Double-A Huntsville Stars.

Charles Anthony Caufield (born July 6, 1983, in Ada, Oklahoma) is a minor league baseball outfielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted by the Brewers in the 39th round of the 2006 amateur entry draft. In 2006, he played for the Rookie League Helena Brewers and Arizona League Brewers. Caufield was promoted to the Class A West Virginia Power in 2007. He played the entire 2008 season with the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. Caufield played the majority of the 2009 and 2010 seasons with the Double-A Huntsville Stars, though he appeared in four games for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.

Anderson Rafael de la Rosa (born August 1, 1984, in Barquisimeto, Venezuela) is a minor league baseball catcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Brewers in 2003. From 2004 to 2006, he played for their Rookie League Arizona League Brewers. He played for the Class A West Virginia Power and Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees in 2007. In addition to playing for those teams again in 2008, De La Rosa also played briefly with the Double-A Huntsville Stars. He played the entire 2009 season at Brevard County. De la Rosa spent the majority of the 2010 campaign with Brevard County, but also played for Huntsville and briefly for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.

He was drafted by Milwaukee in the 5th round of the 2007 amateur entry draft. That year, he played for the Rookie league Helena Brewers. He played the entire 2008 season with the Class A West Virginia Power. In 2009, he was promoted to the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. Gindl spent the entire 2010 season with the Double-A Huntsville Stars. He received an invition to major league spring training with the Brewers in 2011.

He was drafted by Milwaukee in the 13th round of the 2009 amateur entry draft. That year, he played in the Rookie league Helena Brewers. He played part of the 2010 season with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the ended the season in Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees.

He was drafted by the Brewers in the 14th round of the 2007 amateur entry draft. In 2007, he played for their Rookie League Helena Brewers and Class A West Virginia Power. Hand split the 2008 season between the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees and Double-A Huntsville Stars. He split the entire 2009 campaign at Huntsville. In 2010, Hand split his time between Huntsville and the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.

James D. Henderson (born October 21, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is a minor league baseball pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 26th round of the 2003 amateur entry draft. He made his professional debut that year playing for the Rookie League GCL Expos and the Class A (Short Season) Vermont Expos. He played all of 2004 with Vermont. In 2005, Henderson played for the Class A Savannah Sand Gnats. He returned to Savannah in 2006 in addition to pitching for the Class A-Advanced Potomac Nationals. He was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2006 Rule 5 draft. He split the 2007 and 2008 season with their Double-A Tennessee Smokies and Triple-A Iowa Cubs. Henderson signed a minor league contract with the Brewers in 2009. He played the majority of that season with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, but also played for the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees and Double-A Huntsville Stars. Henderson played the entire 2010 season with Huntsville.

Riley "Brock" Kjeldgaard (KELL-guard) (born January 22, 1986) is a Minor League Baseball player as a first baseman and outfielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization, currently playing for the Class AA Huntsville Stars. Kjeldgaard was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and grew up in London, Ontario, Canada. He attended college at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa.

After being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 34th round of the 2005 MLB June Amateur Draft, he played for the Rookie League Helena Brewers of Helena, Montana. He played the 2006 and 2007 seasons as a pitcher for Helena, pitching in 33 games with a record of 1–3 and an ERA of 5.53. He converted to a first baseman/outfielder in 2008 and ended the season with a .278 batting average, 14 home runs, and 65 RBIs. In 2009, he led the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in home runs (20) and RBIs (74). In April 2010, Kjeldgaard was assigned to the Brevard County Manatees where he started at first base. He was promoted to Huntsville in 2011.

Daniel Meadows (born November 3, 1987, in Katy, Texas) is a minor league baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted in the 49th round of the 2008 amateur entry draft. Meadows made his professional debut that season playing for the Rookie League Arizona Brewers and Helena Brewers. He played the entire 2009 season with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the full 2010 season with the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. Meadows began the 2011 season with the Double-A Huntsville Stars, but was promoted to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds in June.

Roque Mercedes (born October 22, 1986) is a pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Career

Mercedes was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2005. He played in their minor league system until being traded with outfielder Cole Gillespie to the Arizona Diamondbacks for second baseman Felipe Lopez in 2009. On December 21, 2010, the Brewers claimed Mercedes off waivers from the Diamondbacks. On February 4, 2011, he was designated for assignment by the Brewers to make room for Mark Kotsay.[1] He cleared waivers and was assigned to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds and invited to spring training.[2]

Daniel Merklinger (born November 19, 1985, in South Orange, New Jersey) is a minor league baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2007 amateur entry draft. Merklinger made his professional debut that season playing for the Rookie League Helena Brewers. After playing the entire 2008 season with the Class A West Virginia Power, he split the 2009 season between the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. Merklinger played the majority of the 2010 season with Brevard County, but he also pitched in one game for the Double-A Huntsville Stars and was promoted to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds for the last week of the season.

Jesús Enrique Sánchez (born September 24, 1987, in Valencia, Venezuela) is a right-handed pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Sánchez began his professional career as a catcher in 2006, in the New York Yankees farm system. He played in 24 games with the GCL Yankees that year before being traded from the Yankees with C. J. Henry, Carlos Monasterios, and Matt Smith for Corey Lidle and Bobby Abreu on July 30. He played in eight games with the GCL Phillies that year. Overall, he batted .252 in 32 games.

He split the 2007 season between the GCL Phillies (34 games) and Clearwater Threshers (one game), hitting .216. In 2008, he spent most of his season with the Lakewood BlueClaws, hitting .186 in 35 games. He also played one game with the GCL Phillies in 2008—though he was used as a pitcher. He pitched one inning in relief, allowing no runs.

Sánchez converted to pitching full-time in 2009, and he went 10–6 with a 3.44 ERA in 26 games for the BlueClaws. In 136 innings, he gave up 137 hits and 42 walks, while striking out 120 batters.[3] He played all of the 2010 season with Clearwater. In 23 games (all but one as a starter), Sánchez achieved a 9–7 record with a 2.99 ERA while striking out 84 batters.

In December 2010, he was signed to a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers.[4]

Juan Jose Sánchez (born January 16, 1987, in Bejuma, Venezuela) is a minor league baseball third baseman in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He was signed by the Minnesota Twins as a non-drafted free agent in 2004. He played for the Twins' Foreign Rookie league team, Maracay of the Venezuelan Summer League, in 2006. In 2007, he played for their Foreign Rookie league DSL Twins. Sánchez made his professional debut in American baseball playing for the Rookie league GCL Twins in 2008. He was selected by Milwaukee in the Triple-A phase of the 2008 Rule 5 draft. He played for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2009. Sánchez played a few games for the Double-A Huntsville Stars in 2010, but played the majority of the season with the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees.
