The Accounting Review

The Accounting Review is an academic journal of the American Accounting Association. It was first published in 1926.

It is regarded as one of the top three or four journals in the field of accounting research in virtually all studies of journals' importance, whether based upon citations or upon opinion surveys.fact|date=September 2008

Its current editor is Steven J. Kachelmeier from the University of Texas at Austin.
