Kevin Corke

Kevin Corke is a national news correspondent based in Washington D.C. for NBC since August 2004. Most of his work has involved coverage of the Bush administration, where he travels with the White House Press Corps. He has also done some reporting from the U.S. Supreme Court, The Pentagon and other locations in Washington D.C. Corke also figured prominently in the network's coverage of the massacre at Virginia Tech.

Corke is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, where he earned a Master's degree and received the Littauer Fellow citation for academic excellence, leadership and commitment to work in the public interest.

He also graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Journalism.

Before joining NBC, Corke worked at the all-sport network ESPN. While there, he could be seen anchoring "SportsCenter", the network's flagship program. Corke also served as a Coordinating Producer on live broadcasts. Corke has covered Olympic Games in Atlanta and Torino, the latter while at NBC.

Corke also worked in Denver at KUSA-TV where he was an anchor for the morning and weekend broadcasts.

Kevin Corke has won numerous journalism awards, among them national and regional Emmys and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.
