Alabama Museum of Natural History is the state's natural history museum located in Tuscaloosa. It has collections for visitors to see the natural diversity of Alabama through exhibits from the Age of Dinosaurs, the Coal Age, and the Ice Age. The museums has collections of geology, zoology, mineralogy, paleontology, ethnology, history, and photography. One of the many notable exhibits is the Hodges meteorite, donated to the museum in 1956.
