The Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Extérieur is an international business school but also a Grande Ecole. Its mission is to prepare young people for the professional challenges involved in the world of international business development with respect for ethics, diversity and culture. The ESCE has been monitoring these developments for some 40 years. It has trained more than 4,600 executives who are experts in international business in the world with offices in Paris, Lyon, Pekin, Mexico and Sao Paolo.

Through its business partnerships, ESCE benefits from favorable conditions to reinforce its ties with the corporate environment to achieve its goal of providing its graduates with the best internships and employment possibilities.

With an alumni network of 5, 000 students, ESCE currently welcomes 1 500 French and about 300 foreign students who are mainly in the four-year undergraduate program. ESCE has also established partnerships with about 94 universities in 36 countries around the world for bilateral International exchange programs. Our teaching staff consists of 46 full-time permanent professors and about 94 associate professors.

Located at «La Défense», near the [http://www.cnit.fr CNIT] (National Center for Industry and Technology) and the «Grande Arche», the university complex is close to the head offices of the largest French and international business firms. The Department of the Hauts-de-Seine, an economically vibrant area, is also home to 27,000 small and medium sized businesses, hence recognized as one of the largest business centres in Europe.

Brief history

Founded in 1968, ESCE is a Private Higher Education Institution recognized by the State. The ESCE diploma is countersigned by the Ministry of Education (Middle and Upper management positions). Since November 2001, ESCE has become a member school of the Laureate International Universities (formally Sylvan International Universities), a network of institutions present in 15 countries around the world and serving more than 215,000 students.

1986: The ESCE increased its cooperation and exchanges with the European Community, Eastern Europe, Asia and the United States.

1999: The school benefits from the modern infrastructure of Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3

2006: The ESCE is expanding its international development in Mexico with a new center in Universidad Del Valle De Mexico (UVM) on the Omas Verdes campus.
2006: The ESCE Group was created in Sept. 2006 with 2 entities : the 5-year program located in Paris/Lyon/Beijing/Mexico (Master’s degrees) and the [http://www.ciece.fr/ International Center for Studies in International Trade (CIECE)] offering post-graduate and international programs.

ESCE - Paris

ESCE Paris is located within the facilities of the Leonardo da Vinci university centre at the heart of the Paris-La Défense district, which is home to the headquarters of the biggest French and international companies. The Hauts de Seine administrative département boasts more than 27,000 small- and medium-sized enterprises and hosts the largest number of exporting firms in France.

The Leonard de Vinci University is also composed of the Environment Institute Leonard de Vinci, the International Project Institute, the Institute of Audit and Certification Development, the CESTI, the EET (European School of Transportation), the ESSCA Business school, School of Modern art, National Association of Marketing, to name a few.

ESCE Paris benefits from one of the most modern infrastructures in Europe. La Defense itself is a huge business and economic area - a city itself - composed of office buildings, a big shopping center, restaurants, snack bars, cinemas, etc…, providing everything a student may require.

ESCE - Lyon

ESCE Lyon is housed at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, within the former Manufacture des Tabacs. ESCE Lyon is a true pedagogical partnership between a business school and a university; it offers its students some of the most modern learning facilities in Europe.

Lyon is the second-largest economic region in France and a real crossroads of Europe, the Rhône-Alpes region, with its companies focused on intra-European exchanges, is an area rich in jobs and internship opportunities for students specialising in international business.

Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, nestled in the heart of Lyon, is continuously connected to the business world through its IAE (business administration institute). It has solid know-how in international training.

ESCE - Beijing

ESCE Beijing is located at the UIBE (University of International Business and Economics), one of China's biggest universities and a specialist in international management studies. It was also one of the first Chinese universities to negotiate international partnerships with over 100 universities and schools in thirty different countries around the world. The Beijing campus is limited in the first- and second-year to Chinese students with a score greater than 500 on the Chinese university entrance exam.

ESCE - Mexico

The Universidad del Valle from Mexico is one of the most important Mexican university. Created in 1960, the university welcomes 54000 students. The university is recognised by the "Federacion de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educacion Superior".
