"Web of Scarlet Spider" is the name of a short-lived comic book series starring the Scarlet Spider. The series was published by Marvel Comics for four issues between November 1995 and February 1996. It was a direct continuation, in terms of creative teams and storylines, of the previous "Web of Spider-Man" series.

Creators who contributed to the title include writers Tom DeFalco, Todd DeZago and Evan Skolnick and pencillers Paris Karounos and Tom Morgan.

The first two issues starred the Ben Reilly incarnation of the character, while the second two issues featured a different, malevolent version: Metal Scarlet Spider. This Scarlet Spider was actually an unwitting FBI agent named Joe Wade, who was possessed by nanotechs from Doctor Octopus' lab explosion. The New Warriors helped Spider-Man to subdue the Metal Scarlet Spider. This storyline was called "Nightmare In Scarlet" and crossed over with "New Warriors" #67.

The series was cancelled when Ben Reilly took on the Spider-Man name. It was replaced by the new title "The Sensational Spider-Man".
