Servite College is a coeducational Roman Catholic high school in the Perth suburb of Tuart Hill, Western Australia. The school is operated by the Servite Order.

History

The Servite Order arrived in Perth in 1951. In 1958, the order established St. Philip’s Regional High School for Boys in Tuart Hill. In the early 70’s the name was changed to Servite College and it became co-educational.

Campus

Servite has excellent facilities including a state-of the art science wing with and international approved gymnasium. Servite has the latest computer and technology systems for students to use. Servite soon will be demolishing the old technology and s+e rooms for a bigger 3 story modern learning Center as Servite is getting much more enrollments and as explained before its small location size and the year 7's coming. Servite is quite a small high school as where is was first built but is buying more land because of the increase of demands for places at this historic school.

tudent life and traditions

The school's houses, called priories, are named to follow the procession of the order from Florence, Italy to Perth: Annunziata, Senario, San Clemente, St Mary's, Our Lady of Sorrows, and St Anthony's.

Athletics

Servite College competes in the Northern Associated Schools (NAS) league and the Associated Catholic Colleges' annual swimming and athletic carnivals. Its NAS competitors include Mercy College, Chisholm College, Newman College and John XXIII College in Perth. Servite college has been the most successful school in both leagues despite its small size.Fact|date=August 2008
