Caraglio is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km southwest of Turin and about 10 km northwest of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,476 and an area of 41.5 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

The municipality of Caraglio contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Vallera, Bottonasco, Paniale, Paschera San Carlo, Paschera San Defendente, and San Lorenzo.

Caraglio borders the following municipalities: Bernezzo, Busca, Cervasca, Cuneo, Dronero, Montemale di Cuneo, Valgrana.
