Phillippi Ryan is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. Phillippi Ryan joined WHDH-TV in 1983 as a general assignment reporter. In 1989, she was named principal reporter for the station's investigative unit. Phillippi Ryan has won 24 Emmy Awards and 10 Edward R. Murrow Awards for her investigative and consumer reporting.
