Under Siege (Metal Band)

Under Siege (Metal Band)

Under Siege were a heavy metal band from London. They regularly played live in and around London during the early 1990's, putting in regular appearances at The Marquee - the famous music club in Charing Cross Road in Soho.

A blend of the standard powerful guitars & bass combined with double bass drumming, Under Siege were a good example of the type of metal that was at its fore in the early to mid-1990's.

A series of near misses with albums and finally the death of Ash led to the break of the band without ever officially releasing any of their recorded material. Some 20-30 powerful tracks do exist, however nowadays these can only be found only in mp3 format.

Some live footage of Under Siege performing at The Marquee can be found on YouTube although the video does have the recorded version of the song 'This Fire' as the audio track rather than the live version the band are playing.
