Travancore Engineering College is one of the self-fiancing college established in 2002 affiliated to University of Kerala,Trivandrum.The college is under Travancore Education Society,Kallabalam.College started with three courses (a) Computer Science & Engineering , (b)Electronics & Electrical Engineering and (c)Electrical & Electronics Engineering.The first batch of students passed out in the year 2006 with highest percentage of passed results in Computer Science & Engineering.

Computer Science & Engineering

The studentstrength at the starting of the course was 33,which is presently a full filled classroom going on.Students of first batch have been trained with proper care which have been lacking in lot of the self finacing colleges.A high percentage of the students of the batch are placed in well reputeted institutions around the globe.Many in the batch have selected imparting knowledge as their profession in reputed institutions such as the TKM College of Engineering,even when the IT industry was on its prime time.

Present Head of the Department : Manu J Pillai ,presently on research based on Ad-Hoc networks.

"ABACAS" Association of Bachelors And Computer Allied Students. Started in the year of 2003,it have been uniting and innovating students of technical studies by conducting seminars and technical festivals on national basis,primarily under the leadership of Nijaz.N ,assisted by Shamna with a whole hearted support and guidance of our beloved Nijam Sir(Mohammed Nijam).

Electronics & Communication Engineering

One of the primire branches of the college started with the origin of the college with a full bench strength.The branch have been an active participant in bringing about new talents in the field of communication tehnology and taming electrons.

"RACE"

Royal Association of Communication Engineers

Started in the year of 2003,it have been organizing seminars based on upcoming communication technologies.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Started in the year 2002 as one of the primire branches of the college .

Admission

Admission to the College is based on the highly competitive Common Entrance Examination administered by the Government of Kerala, India.
