Vadym Meshkurinho

Vadym Meshkurinho

"Vadinhosa Meshkurinho", formerly known as Vadym Meshkurov, a Ukrainian born footballer (Center Back, Defensive Midfielder) who plays out the remaining of his five year hundred and twenty five thousand dollar contract at Egyptian club Al-Ahlii. Vadym was a brought in a low income family,in the post-soviet quarters of the town Ternopil in Western Ukraine. He entered the local football academy at Nyva Club, and rapidly moved through the youth system. Where he lacked in mobility, technique, and scoring ability, Vadym made in great determination, aggresiveness, and a tenacious style of play. He was a menace on the field since a very early age and was compared to the Ukrainian legend of Luzhniy. Vadym's intangible character and developing leadership earned him a transfer to FC Karpaty Lviv at the age of 17, where he became one of the standout players which included the future stars of Ukrainian football Chygrynsky, Shust, and Fedoriv. However, being so young meant Vadym will most likely play out at least season or two at the affilate of FC Lviv. There he was a first team regular competing in the First Division; at FC Lviv Meshkurov developed drastically becoming more mature mentally, physically, and techniucally( set pieces and free kicks in particular are his great weapon). He grew and gained weight which made him an intimidating figure. During his first season for FC Lviv Vadym scored six goals, made six assists, recorded four tackles/game, and had seventy fice percent pass percentage. As promising as he looked Vadym's his aggresivness landed him in much trouble having recorded 3 red cards, and 5 yellow cards during the season. One incident was especially troubling where Vadym blindsidingly tackled Andrao Gabito of Energetyk Burshtyn, breaking his elbow, knee, and causing him psychological demage via having the constant fear of being blindsided again. For the hit that looked more like a rugby tackle that a football tackle, Vadym was suspended for 5 five games remaining in the 06-07 season, and for the first three games of 07-08 season. Many rumors sprung that Vadym brutal culture leads from his racist personality, since Andrao was Brazilian, and that Meshkurov also was anti-gay, since many believed Andrao was gay too. This negative media led the Federation to force FC Lviv to release Vadym or send him on the loan to a multi culture club for two seasons. Brazilian team AC Riveira took Meshkurov for a two season term. Surprisngly MEshkurov embraced his new experience and changed his name to Vadinhosa Meshkurinho to show that he indeed is not racist or anti-gay. The progress made was effective, however the beautiful Brazilian game was to un-disciplined for former tenacious back, thus Vadinhosa lacked the season in production failing to score, but once on a free kick, and accumulating even more yellow cards nine. Riveira released him back to Ukraine following the season, but Ukrainian rules stated he had to be out for one more year, thus for forty thousand dollars he was dealt to Al-Ahlii Cairo. There he looks to revive his career and become the player he wants to be. Meshkurinho showed flashes of brilliancy versus friendly matches between Lazio and Mallorca scoring two goals, dealing two assists, and playing tenacious-d. When asked after the game Vadinhosa stated he will do whatever it takes to get noticed. Fun fact: Vadinhosa invested fifteen thousand dollars of his signing bonus into Brazilian sugar groves, hoping one day, after retiring, to become a rancher and a marry a Japanese woman.
