Baraba Tatar

Baraba Tatar

The Baraba Tatars are a group of Siberian Tatars, who are a sub-group of the Tatars. Some of them still speak eastern dialect of Tatar language. They are also callled Barabinsk Tatar. They traditionally live on the Baraba steppe.

There were around 150,000 Baraba Tatars in 1990.
