French Australians (French: "Franco-Australiens") are residents of Australia who are of French ancestry.

According to the 2006 Australian census 19,186 Australian residents were born in France while 98,332 claimed French ancestry, either alone or with another ancestry.

Demography

At the 2006 Census 19,189 Australian residents stated that they were born in France.
