The Boca Dam is an earthfill dam (National ID No. CA10135) and a part of the Truckee Storage Project that encompasses Nevada County, California and Washoe County, Nevada. Open year-round, it's located at the southern end of Boca Reservoir, convert|1|mi|km|abbr=on north of Interstate 80, convert|.3|mi|km|abbr=on above the confluence of the Little Truckee River and the Truckee River, and convert|6|mi|km|abbr=on northeast of Truckee, California. Boca Dam's area of significance includes agriculture, conservation, and engineering. It's owned by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, and operated by the Washoe County Water Conservation District.
