nihongo|"Bart"|バート|Bāto, stylized as "BART", is a discontinued monthly Japanese visual perception magazine published by Shueisha from May 1991 to March 2000.cite web|url=http://ascii24.com/news/i/topi/article/1998/07/06/611780-000.html?geta|title=【INTERVIEW】デジタルネットワーク世代のための新雑誌『MONTHLY BART 3230』が集英社より本日創刊 |publisher=acii24.com |work=|date=1998-07-06 |author=|accessdate=2008-07-23 ] Targeted to white-collar workers from 22 to 32 year of age, the magazine premiered in May 1991. The magazine initially had sluggish sales, and in 1997 Nobuhiko Horie, editor-in-chief of the Shueisha's popular "Weekly Shōnen Jump", took over as editor of "Bart". To revive the publication, Horie overhauled the magazine's layout and content, turning it into one of Japan's top selling men's magazines.cite web |url=http://www.nsp.tv/director_eng.htm |title=North Star Pictures |publisher=North Star Pictures |accessdate=2008-07-22]

In August 1998, the magazine was renamed to "Monthly Bart 3230", with an increased focus on digital media and the addition of serialized chapters from two seinen manga titles. The 3230 was taken from the base telephone number used in the Shueisha offices. In March 2000, the magazine was discontinued.
