"Prime Cuts & Glazed Donuts" is the third album by American all-female heavy metal band Phantom Blue. [ [http://www.phantomblue.com/sounds.htm Phantom Blue - Sounds] ] It was the band's first independent release after parting ways with Geffen Records. [ [http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=484&CDName=Prime+Cuts+and+Glazed+Donuts Heavy Harmonies - Phantom Blue: Prime Cuts & Glazed Donuts] ] All tracks were written by co-founders Michelle Meldrum and Nicole Couch, with the exceptions of "In The Likes of You" written by Linda McDonald and Chris Haren, "Strange War" written by Linda McDonald, Kim Nielsen, Nicole Couch and "Fairies Wear Boots" (a Black Sabbath cover). The tracks were recorded by the original members during their pre-production days with Geffen Records, with the exception of "Saturday Morning Brain Damage," which was recorded before the band signed with Shrapnel Records. Debra Armstrong was the bassist on this particular track.
