North Colonie Central Schools is a public school district located in Colonie, New York.
Merger with Maplewood-Colonie Common School District
In October 2007, the annexation of Maplewood-Colonie Common School District with the North Colonie Central School District was approved, 1446 yes to 277 no, by voters in Colonie and Maplewood.
Structure
The district is made up of 7 (the 7th recently added) primary schools (Grades K-6) that all filter in to Shaker Junior High School (7-8). They go on to Shaker High School after that (9-12).
