Chicago Bicycle Program

Chicago Bicycle Program

The Chicago Department of Transportation Bicycle Program is in charge of installing and maintaining the city's bikeways, public right-of-way bike parking, creating training and enforcement programs and policies for public and private sector employees, as well as administering Mayor Daley's Bicycling Ambassadors.

The program is run by Ben Gomberg, Bicycle Program Coordinator and staffed by [http://www.chicagobikes.org/public/staff.php local cycling enthusiasts] .

The Bicycle Program produces the yearly Chicago bike map, [http://www.cityofchicago.org/Transportation/bikemap/keymap.html Streets for Cycling] .
