moshav in northernIsrael . Located in theGalilee nearRamat Yishai , it falls under the jurisdiction ofJezreel Valley Regional Council . In 2006 it had a population of 528.In 1926 a group of immigrants from Yugoslavia settled in the area, taking the name from the ancient city of Beit She'arim, the ruins of which are today a national park. The majority of the settlers left, and in 1936 a moshav was established by immigrants from Eastern Europe.
