Bernd Storck is a German football coach and currently manager of FC Almaty and Kazakhstan U21 team. He is also caretaker of Senior national team until a new manager is appointed after the sack of Arno Pijpers on September 15, 2008 [ [http://www.kff.kz/1822 Pijpers sacked] FFK, Sept.15, 2008]

As a player Storck made his debut in the Bundesliga with VfL Bochum. In summer 1983 he moved to Borussia Dortmund, where he remained for six years. His biggest success as a pro was in winning the German cup in 1989. Altogether he played in 171 Bundesliga matches and scored eight goals.

After the end of his career he completed a trainer's course and was an assistant coach with Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, Hertha BSC, VfL Wolfsburg and FK Partizan Belgrade. In the middle of the 2008 season he was appointed as manager of Kazakh side FC Almaty, in order to help the club avoid relegation.
