Eggar's School is a secondary school in the town of Alton, Hampshire, England and has Science College status. The other secondary school in Alton is Amery Hill School.

Founding

Eggar's School was founded by John Eggar in the year 1640, although the School Badge displays the date 1642.

Current site

The current site for Eggar's School has been used since 1976. The current headteacher is Mrs Felicity Martin, there are 822 students currently on roll.
