Greater Iquique

Greater Iquique

Greater Iquique is a chilean conurbation that includes Iquique and Alto Hospicio communes in the Iquique Province in Tarapacá Region. It has an estimated population of 264,682 for 2008 becoming the second largest city in Norte Grande "Far North" after Antofagasta. It's desigantion as a metropolitan area is recent.
