Pinega River

Pinega River ( _ru. Пинега) is a river in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in Russia. It is a right tributary of the Northern Dvina River. The length of the river is 779 km. The area of its basin 42,600 km². The Pinega River freezes up in mid October - early November and stays under the ice until mid April - early May. The river is navigable within 580 km from its estuary. Its main tributaries are the Vyya, Yula, Pokshenga, Ilesha, Yezhuga.
