All Shall Fade

All Shall Fade

All Shall Fade is an American rock band originating from East Brunswick Township, New Jersey. All Shall Fade was originally formed in late 2003 by singer Rob Brower, lead guitarist Guy Coletti, rhythm guitarist Dan Page, drummer Arnab Banerjee, and keyboardist Joe Brower.

All Shall Fade's original lineup first convened in December 2003. Shortly after, bassist John Stevenson joined the band. The band moved forward, writing their initial three songs: "Back to Life", "Smiles Fade", and "Here I Am". In March 2004, Rob Brower decided to leave the band. Guy Coletti gave up guitarist duties to Nick Goncalves, and became the lead singer of the band. All Shall Fade gave their first live performance on April 25, 2004 at the Hamilton Street Cafe and Stage in Bound Brook, NJ.

In this period, All Shall Fade released their first EP, entitled "Hit". "Hit" contained four songs: "Back to Life", "Smiles Fade", "Here I Am", and "Angel (Acoustic)". At the end of the summer, All Shall Fade played with Drive-Thru Records' Rx Bandits at the Livingston College Student Center in Piscataway NJ. This marked the last time Nick Goncalves played with the band before All Shall Fade and Goncalves amicably split. In September of 2004, All Shall Fade released their second EP, titled "Run".

All Shall Fade played a handful of shows as a five-piece band, including an opening stint for Interscope Records recording artists Sleeping at Last. This incarnation continued until recruiting Jim Clark, also of Amber Blues. During this period, All Shall Fade played numerous high-profile shows, including opening for I Am the Avalanche at the RexPlex in Elizabeth NJ and a Tsunami Benefit Show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.

Jim Clark left the band in February 2005, and All Shall Fade decided that it would remain a five piece band. In April 2005, All Shall Fade performed at the Starland Ballroom with Skid Row, and entered the 2005 Jersey Shows Battle of the Bands, in which All Shall Fade advanced to the finals. All Shall Fade also recorded and released a self titled ep during this time. Shortly after the battle, keyboardist Joe Brower decided to leave All Shall Fade. Joe played his last show with All Shall Fade on September 22, 2005 at The Rail in Bound Brook, NJ.

Rather than run the risk of throwing off band chemistry, Guy Coletti, John Stevenson, Dan Page, and Arnab Banerjee continued as a four piece band. After playing a successful string of shows, All Shall Fade decided to take the winter of 2005-2006 off to retool their sound.

All Shall Fade returned in March 2006 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ as support for Powerman 5000, playing songs from their new ep "The Sounds of Malice and Pride". The band continued to gain exposure and play a handful of high profile shows, including the Jackass 2 Movie Release Party at Dock Street in Staten Island NY, where All Shall Fade was introduced on stage by Don Vito. All Shall Fade also performed in many new places, from Philadelphia to Worcester MA. Also in late 2006, All Shall Fade performed at the Knitting Factory in New York City with The Smash-Up, and also played what the members have referred to as their favorite show of all time: An opening slot for Monty Are I and Dropping Daylight at the School of Rock in South Hackensack, NJ. Prior to this show, All Shall Fade recorded their ep "Better Living Through Letting Go." It was after this show that a bombshell hit the band, and founding member Arnab planned to leave the band.

Arnab stayed on to play one last show with All Shall Fade, who were invited to play at the Hamilton Street Cafe and Stage one more time with Amity Lane (featuring members of TRUSTcompany) and Hydrovibe. Not only was this ASF's last show with Arnab, but it was their last performance at the venue that had become a mainstay in their history.

All Shall Fade was ready to separate, when mutual friend Paul Tullo came into the picture. Paul Tullo was the former drummer for New Jersey band Patient Zer0, and was tossed into the band almost immediately, playing at the legendary Stone Pony with the band after only 4 days. 2007 saw a rejuvenated All Shall Fade performing many more shows, including a direct support stint with Drowning Pool and Black Market Hero.

All Shall Fade took this momentum into 2008, where they spent months tooling their sound to create their first debut album, "Bracing for Disaster".
