Tom Davis (born 13 August 1952) is an Emmy Award winning comedy writer and performer. He is best known as one half of the comedy duo "Franken & Davis".

Early life

Davis attended The Blake School, where he built up a friendship and writing partnership with Franken.

Career

In 1975 the Davis got his break writing for "Saturday Night Live", where the two also performed together.

Franken and Davis have also wrote the script for and appeared in "One More Saturday Night". They have also had cameos together in "Trading Places" and "".

Recently Davis has been a frequent guest on The Al Franken Show, playing in sketches as characters including Treasury Secretary John W. Snow and a male prostitute.
