Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP) was established on 22nd November, 1973 as a company limited by guarantee, under the then Companies Act 1913, later substituted by the Companies Ordinance 1984. It is the professional body of corporate secretaries which is imparting professional education and prudence in the areas of secretarial practices, corporate governance, corporate and business laws, accounting, administration, management, human resource and business ethics. The Institute has its head office in Karachi. At present the Institute has about 700 associate members and more than 250 fellow members working in and outside Pakistan. They are working as secretaries of companies and of other corporate bodies. They are working in other senior positions of companies, trust, non-government organizations, local governments, educational and professional institutions, trade bodies and the like.
