John Dodge (editor)

A journalist for 30 years, John Dodge has been editor in chief of Design News since early November, 2006. [ [http://www.designnews.com/blogger/2524.html?text=john+dodge Design News ] ] John Dodge spent nearly 20 years in top editorial and management positions at Ziff Davis Media. He was editor and executive editor/news at eWeek(formerly PC Week) and vice president of news for Ziff Davis, where he coordinated all of the technology news across the company's websites. Dodge was also a weekly e-business columnist for the Wall Street Journal online, author of a bi-weekly technology column for the Boston Globe, and a contributor to a technology column for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He has appeared on CBS MarketWatch, CNN, Bloomberg, ABC's World News Tonight and other major broadcast outlets around the country. Dodge has also been honored five times by Technology Marketing as one of the 25 most influential computer technology journalists in the country. He also directed coverage of the Boeing 787 in his present job as editor-in-chief at Design News which won an Eddie award in 2007. Design News a Jesse H. Neal finalist in 2007 for its 787 coverage.

He is currently married and has two children.
