This list of tallest buildings in Baltimore ranks skyscrapers and high-rises in the U.S. city of Baltimore, Maryland by height. The history of skyscrapers in Baltimore began with the completion in 1893 of the Fidelity Building, which is regarded as the first high-rise in the city.cite web|url=http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=fidelitybuilding-baltimore-md-usa|title=Fidelity Building|accessdate=2008-06-20|publisher=Emporis.com] The building originally rose eight floors, but an additional seven stories were constructed between 1912 and 1915, bringing the structure's total height to convert|220|ft|m|0. Baltimore went through an early high-rise construction boom from the 1910s to the late 1920s, during which time the Bank of America Building was constructed. The city then experienced a major building boom from the early 1960s to the early 1990s, during which the city saw the completion of 18 of its 23 tallest buildings, including the Legg Mason Building and the Baltimore World Trade Center. The city is the site of two completed buildings that are at least convert|500|ft|m|0 high, with one more under construction and two proposed for construction.
