The college campus is set in a former 19th century
convent , located between theBoscombe andPokesdown areas of Bournemouth. The college is divided into three buildings – the main college building, which isgrade II listed , the clinic and the assembly/sports hall. The Vilhelm Krause library occupies the former conventchapel , which still contains much of its original stained glass. The clinic opened on the college campus in the early 1980’s and has since developed a high quality reputation both in the UK and worldwide cite web |url=http://www.aecc.ac.uk/clinic/index.asp|title=AECC3|accessdate=2008=7=16] . It contains modern diagnostic and chiropractic treatment facilities and has 30 treatment rooms and two x-ray units. New Clinic
The clinic is expanding, with a new £3.5m state-of-the-art chiropractic training facility to open in December 2008 cite web |url=http://www.aecc.ac.uk/clinic/index.asp|title=AECC3|accessdate=2008=7=16] . A fundraising campaign is currently running to generate £500k to successfully complete the project on budget. Clinic patients are examined and treated by student interns (final year college students), faculty staff (Lecturers and Tutors from the college) or associates (fully qualified Chiropractic practitioners based at the clinic). The new clinic will contain up to date diagnostic and chiropractic treatment facilities and an exercise area as well as incorporating 35 treatment rooms.
An official opening ceremony will be held on April 3, 2009 to run alongside the
British Chiropractic Association /Anglo-European College of Chiropractic Annual Conference.Princess of Wales’ visit to the AECC
Diana, Princess of Wales visited the AECC onJuly 11, 1991 in her role as the college’s patron cite web |url= http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/09/17/09.html|title=Diana|accessdate=2008=7=16] . The Princess came to accept afellowship from the college, the first ever awarded in the AECC’s history. Upon receiving her fellowship, Diana commented “I am thrilled to receive this, and not that skeleton I saw earlier.”AC Milan link
In March 2007, AECC staff visited the

title=Milan|accessdate=2008=4=3] . The college’s formal agreement with the club has enabled research collaboration with AC Milan’s treatment and assessment centre, MilanLab. In April 2008, AECC principal Kenneth Vall told theTimes Higher Education "MilanLab are using the most innovative training methods and chiropractic is a central method of treatment.
