Breakin' Convention

Breakin' Convention

Breakin’ Convention is the International Festival of hip hop dance theatre, which has been produced annually by Sadler's Wells Theatre since 2004, under the Artistic Directorship of Jonzi D. From May 2008 Breakin’ Convention is expanding its activity to include UK tours as well as the annual three day festival over the May Day Bank Holiday at Sadler’s Wells in London. It will also be creating Breakin’ Convention Hubs to develop work with local hip hop artists; producing year-round professional development courses for UK hip hop dance theatre companies, choreographers and artists and commissioning new work.
