Dave Rutherford

Dave Rutherford is a Canadian conservative political talk show host. His daily radio show, Rutherford, was previously nationally syndicated in Canada and was the first Canadian radio talk program to be simulcast on television, but now airs from 9am-12pm daily only in Alberta on AM770 CHQR and 630 CHED. Rutherford is the number one rated radio show in Alberta, with an estimated daily audience of around 750,000 people. Rutherford has also served as the director of RTNDA Canada. He was named Broadcaster of the Year in 2006 by the Western Association of Broadcasters.

• News anchor at CKNW in New Westminster from 1974
• News Director for CHQR in Calgary in 1983
• Program Director/talk show host for CHQR 1983-current
