Torah Magic

Torah Magic is the Jewish equivalent to Gospel Magic. It is stage magic in the service of teaching the articles of the Jewish faith to youngsters.http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/week421/feature.html]

Both the Tanakh and the Talmud consider conjuring as sinful. However, sleight-of-hand for entertainment purposes is perfectly acceptable as long as the performer doesn't make preternatural claims.Fact|date=September 2008
