Laura Whitmore

Laura Whitmore, (4 May 1985, in Dublin) is a television presenter for MTV. In April 2008 she won Pick Me MTV - a search to find a new presenter to co-host MTV News bulletins and half hour show MTV News The Cube with presenter Rickie Haywood Williams.

Laura Whitmore grew up in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. She attended Loreto Secondary School and was a star student, often winning awards as well as appearing on stage.

She has a journalism degree from Dublin City University, where she was the Women's Officer on the Student's Union. Laura also spent a semester studying in Boston. She worked as a researcher for Newstalk Radio Station in Ireland before winning MTV's Pick me MTV and moving to London.

A photo shoot and interview with Laura featured in the September 2008 issue of "FHM".
