Camunian rose

The Camunian rose (also Camunnian rose) is the name given to a particular petroglyph of the Rock Drawings in Valcamonica.

The name "rosa camuna" is an unattested modern invention used to describe the symbol, and was not used contemporaneously when the symbol was used.

It seems the flower rose, so in italian is called "rosa camuna" (rose of the Val Camonica, but is also considered a local graphic variation of the swastika.

It's also the symbol designed on the Lombardy flag (without the nine cup marks).
