The Radclyffe School is a Mixed ComprehensiveSchool for 11 - 16 year olds, located in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, England.

The school was originally called Chadderton Grammar school but was renamed Mid Chadderton Comprehensive after grammar schools were abolished in 1975. Early in 1976, the school pupils voted on a change of name, as the name Mid Chadderton was disliked by the then serving headmistress, Miss Myatt. The name "Radclyffe" was taken from a local land owning family in the 19th century and, at one time, had owned the land that the schools stood upon.

The Upper School site has recently undergone a structural change. A £40M school was built to accommodate Lower and Upper school students. All students have moved into the new school, which contains Interactive Whiteboards in every classroom, An Astroturf, Outdoor Classrooms and a covered street. The old Upper School building has been demolished and will soon be the schools new fields. The building has now been declared unsafe and is due to be demolished.

It was officially opened by Manchester United F.C manager, Sir Alex Ferguson on the 10th of July 2008. cite web |url=http://www.theradclyffeschool.co.uk/docs/newSchool2.html |title=New School |accessdate=2008-07-26 ] cite web |url=http://www.oldhamadvertiser.co.uk/news/s/1057493_fergies_fan_club |title=Fergie's fan club |accessdate=2008-07-26 ] The school has tried to improve its image especially with the relaunch at the new hunt lane site with Harriet Harmen MP (Four hats Harmen).They also have a very successful young enterprise scheme which was established on the 2005-2006 academic year. The Radclyffe School won the first ever Fast & Furious Young Entrepreneurs Competition.The school has a purpose built athletic centre next to the upper school Hunt Lane building,making it one of the few in the town to have a halve decent facility, which after years of neglect by the local council and the Local MP whom has sat for over twenty years ,has with this private lead investment given a chance for students to have a decent education. However it can be said will the PFI investment pay off or be a costly mistake, and will it be maintained when handed over to the council into the future.
