- Khufi language
Khufi language is one of the
Pamir languagesof Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province. A member of the Shughni–Rushani language group, it is spoken in the villages of Khuf and Pastkhuf in the Khufdara River gorge — a right-hand tributary of Panjthat descends from the Rushan Rangesouth of the BartangRiver and the town of Rushan. Some researchers consider the Khufi language a dialect of the Rushani language.
