The Philadelphia Women's Professional Soccer team is a professional soccer club to be based in Chester, Pennsylvania, a small city in the Philadelphia area, that will begin play in Women's Professional Soccer in 2010. Replacing the former Philadelphia Charge of the defunct Women's United Soccer Association, the team will play its home games at Chester Stadium.

Ownership

Matthew Driver, the Chief Executive Officer of Team Dynamic, LLC, is the managing partner of the Philadelphia Women's Professional Soccer team. The group of investors also includes David Hershey, the managing partner and owner of the New Jersey/New York Boat Show. The group plans to bring on additional investors prior to the 2010 inaugural season.

Driver's history with professional soccer is long, having served as the New England Revolution's first assistant coach, and is the founder of the South Jersey Barons of the United Soccer Leagues. He also owns three Women's Premier Soccer League teams in the Delaware Valley region: the Atlantic City Diablos, the Central Delaware SA Future, and the Philadelphia Liberty FC.
