High Frequency (HF) Radio communications – Q-MAC designs and manufactures a range of HF equipment including transceivers (manpack, mobile and base), data modems, amplifiers, antenna tuners and accessories. Q-MAC also provides a NVIS mobile antennas which are used for remote area communications typically used by border guards and humanitarian orgnisations. Q-MAC provides HF solutions which typically used by military organisations and in particular are popular where small size units are required. The transceivers are designed to comply with Military standards.

Q-MAC’s HF transceivers were first used by the Western Australia Fire and Emergency Services to provide emergency communications in disaster relief applications. The first product to be released by the company, the HF-90, quicly earnt the reputation as the world's smallest portable HF SSB transceiver. Q-MAC is has now reportedly exported its HF-90 transceivers to over 100 countries globally.

VHF Radio communications – Q-MAC designs and manufactures a range of VHF equipment including transceivers (manpack, mobile and base), data modems, amplifiers and accessories. Q-MAC provides VHF solutions which typically used by military organisations and in particular are popular where small size units are required. The transceivers are designed to comply with Military standards.

Military communications – Security forces across the globe rely on HF Tactical radios to provide autonomous military communications which are secure and resitant to signals intelligence and Radio jamming by enemy forces. HF SSB Radios do not rely on any infrastructure and with Frequency Hopping are able to overcome spot jamming.

Q-MAC's headquarters in Perth, Western Australia includes a research and design facility and manufacturing plant.
