Catawbiense hybrid

A catawbiense hybrid is a hybrid of the plant genus "Rhododendron", derived from crosses of American species "Rhododendron catawbiense" and "Rhododendron maximum" with European and Asian species "R. arboreum", "R. caucaseum" and "R. ponticum".
