"Mr. Carter" is a song by American rapper Lil Wayne, released as the third promotional single from his sixth studio album, Tha Carter III. The song features fellow American rapper Jay-Z and features production from DJ Infamous, with co-production from Andrews "Drew" Correa. In the song, Wayne borrows lyrics from Jay-Z's song Lucky Me, from the album In My Lifetime, Vol. 1. Lil Wayne said that this is his favorite track on Tha Carter III.
