Since 1999, Andrea has been the lead presenter for the weather on GMTV (although now the job is split equally between herself and Clare Nasir) and has also presented shows such as "Our House" (series 1) for UKTV Style and "Loose Women" for ITV, of which she is still presenter.

Andrea and fellow ex-contestant Andi Peters presented the weekday fan show "Dancing on Ice Extra" for the rest of the show's run.

McLean filled in for Loose Women's guest host Jackie Brambles, when Brambles went on maternity leave. Now McClean has become the permanent host of Loose Women, a job she shares with Brambles.

In July 2008, it was announced that McLean will quit working on "GMTV" within the next 6 months, She has been working on GMTV for over 11 years. She will focus on her role as a panelist on "Loose Women".
