"Threshold" is a 1997 fantasy novel by South Australian author Sara Douglass.

Plot

Primarily told from the point of view of a glass working slave, Threshold chronicles the construction of a mysterious glass clad pyramid designed by an order of mathematically obsessed sorcerers to contact another realm, the aftermath of its activation and final defeat.
